AICTE Scholarship Notification 2025-26
Pragati • Saksham • Swanath Scholarship Schemes
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites online applications for the following scholarship schemes for the academic year 2025-26:
- AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students
- AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-Abled Students
- AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme for Orphans, Wards of Martyrs, or COVID-Affected Families
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

📘 Scheme Guidelines
1. AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme (for Girl Students)
• Eligibility: Open to girl students admitted to the first year or second year (through lateral entry)
of degree/diploma programs in AICTE-approved colleges.
• Family Income: Annual income must not exceed ₹8,00,000.
• Maximum of two girls per family can apply.
• Reward: ₹50,000 per annum for expenses like tuition fees, books, laptops, or equipment.
• Mode: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the student's bank account.
• Reserved Categories: 15% SC, 7.5% ST, and 27% OBC.
Documents Required
- Bonafide certificate from the institution
- Fee receipt of current class
- Income certificate from concerned [translate:tehsildar]
- Previous marks card(s)
- Domicile certificate
- Admission letter or proof from the institution
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Applicant's signature (scanned)
- Aadhaar card
- Bank passbook seeded with Aadhaar showing account details and photo
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable for Saksham scholarship)
- Parents’ declaration in some cases
2. AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme (for Specially-Abled Students)
• Eligibility: Open to specially-abled students with a disability of 40% or more, pursuing AICTE-approved technical degree/diploma programs.
• Family Income: Must not exceed ₹8,00,000 per annum.
• Reward: ₹50,000 per annum for every year of study.
• Tenure: Maximum 3 years for degree and 2 years for diploma (for lateral entry).
• Implementation: Amount granted for purchase of assistive equipment, books, fees, software, or laptops.
3. AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme (for Orphans & COVID-affected Students)
• Eligibility: Open to students who are orphans, children of martyrs (Armed Forces/Police), or whose earning parent died due to COVID-19.
• Family Income: Must not exceed ₹8,00,000 per annum.
• Reward: ₹50,000 per annum for every year of study, up to 4 years (Degree) or 3 years (Diploma).
• Coverage: Tuition fees, books, laptop/computer, or other educational aids.
• Mode: Amount transferred directly via DBT into the beneficiary’s account.
⚠️ Students admitted through the management quota are not eligible. Scholarship amount is transferred only to an individual student’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
