BSF has announced 549 vacancies across 30+ sports disciplines including Athletics (110+ posts), Boxing, Volleyball (29 posts), Weightlifting, Wrestling, Swimming, Shooting, Badminton, Basketball, Yoga, Water Sports, and more. Detailed event-wise breakdown:
- Athletics: 110+ posts (100m, 200m, Hurdles, Race Walk, Throws, Jumps)
- Volleyball: 29 posts (Male/Female)
- Wrestling (Free Style + Greco Roman): 51 posts
- Weightlifting: 24 posts
- Boxing: 20+ posts (various weight categories)
- Other: Archery, Basketball, Badminton, Swimming, Taekwondo, Wushu, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01 Aug 2025)
- General: 18-23 years
- SC/ST: +5 years relaxation
- OBC (NCL): +3 years relaxation
- BSF Departmental (3+ years service): Additional relaxation
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from recognized board
- All certificates must be available at recruitment time
Sports Qualification (Mandatory)
Candidates must have medals/participation in recognized International/National events from 15 Jan 2024 to 15 Jan 2026:
- International: Olympics, World Championship, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games (Gold=100 marks, Silver=96, etc.)
- National: National Games, Senior/Youth/Junior Championships (Gold=30 marks individual)
- Minimum qualifying marks: 12 for all categories
- Only highest achievement counted
